Experience. Judgment. Passion. Results.

Not unlike aviation, ultimately one person is responsible for a successful outcome.

With his undergraduate degree in engineering, Fred has the technical background to quickly learn and understand a broad range of disciplines covering a multitude of technologies. As reflected in his over 5,000 incident-free hours as a commercially rated pilot operating complex, systems-based aircraft in all types of conditions, Fred has the ability to focus, solve problems as they arise, and remain calm in the face of any kind of challenge.

Fred pairs his technical expertise with the ability to make complex topics comprehensible to non-technical audiences – including judges and juries – a strength honed through over 2,000 national television and radio appearances as a subject-matter expert over the last fifteen years.

Equally important, with a down-to-earth style rare among intellectual property lawyers, Fred has consistently proved his ability to build fact-finders’ trust, narrow the issues, deliver focused and persuasive arguments, and win the day for his clients.

Get to know me

For over 30 years, Mr. Tecce has enjoyed aviation as a commercially-rated, multi-engine, instrument-rated pilot with over 5,000 hours. During this time, he’s operated several pressurized complex aircraft including his current aircraft, a Cheyenne I.

Keeping with his travel hobbies, Fred owns and operates a recreational vehicle and has travelled as far south as Key Largo; as far west as the Grand Canyon and as far north as Camden, Maine, and Canada.  When not spending time with his four sons, he enjoys fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake’s Eastern Shore.
